The Public Relations Association of Louisiana's Central Louisiana Chapter will present its inaugural Cypress Awards on April 10, 2010, honoring excellence in public relations and advertising. The deadline for award entry submissions is March 11, 2010.
Cypress Awards are given as a Louisiana precursor to the Southern Public Relations Federation’s Lantern Awards. There are 25 available categories. The competition is open to all Louisiana public relations professionals and students, as well as to both members and nonmembers of the Public Relations Association of Louisiana.
Possible awards include First Place (Cypress Award), Second Place, Third place, Honorable Mention, Best of Show, and Judges' Choice.
